This will be our third Ordeal for 2010. Make plans now to come out and help us welcome new members into our Lodge. With your help we can make this a memorable experience for our mew members and help to bring them back for many years to come.
As always we will need help in all areas involved with an Ordeal and especially with Elangomats and in the Kitchen.
This will also be a great opportunity to seal your membership in the Order by taking your Brotherhood. It's easy and you will receive a lot of help along the way.
To pre-register for this event just click one of the buttons below or fill out and send in the registration form which can be found on the FORMS page. Remember - Members must pre-register at least one week prior to the event to receive the discounted pre-registration price. After that the fee goes up by $5.00.
Notice of Cost Increase
At the February 2010 Executive Committee Meeting a vote was taken to increase the fees to attend events.
All Member fees were increased by $5.00.
Attending Ordeals now will cost you $20.00 and if you want to take your Brotherhood it is now $35.00.
HOWEVER-
There will be a discount of $5.00 if you pre-register at least one week prior to the event, so you can still attend at the discounted price of $15.00 for Members and $30.00 for taking your Brotherhood if you just pre-register for the events.
This action was taken to offset the cost to the Lodge when we have to buy additional food for events because we don't know how many people will show up expecting to eat. If we buy too little, the Kitchen Staff has to make an additional trips to the store to buy more food during the day on Saturday, causing them to waste time and their personal money for the additional fuel it takes to get there. If we buy extra food it is wasted and has to be thrown out.
By pre-registering for all events we will have a better grasp on what we need to get us through the weekend without wasting time and money. Food cost is our largest expense at any event and the Lodge felt that it was only fair to make those who cause the waste by not pre-registering, incur the additional costs associated with the waste.
